AV Sales and Installation FAQs When Our Clients Ask, We Answer
Where can you mount a TV?
Almost anywhere that can safely support the load. We mount to wood studs, metal studs, concrete block, brick, stucco, tile, stone, ceilings, cabinetry, and floor stands. We confirm structure, choose the right anchors or backing plates, plan cable paths, and follow code so the TV is secure and level.
Can you hide all the wires?
Yes. We conceal HDMI, power, and network lines in-wall where allowed. If in-wall isn’t possible, we use paintable raceways that look clean.
What if I don’t have a power outlet behind the TV?
We add a code-compliant recessed outlet or route power to a safe location using one of our certified electrical partners. We can also work with your electrician.
Do you supply the mount or should I buy one?
Either works. However, we prefer to supply the mount to ensure it is the correct mount.
We carry tilt, fixed, and full-motion mounts matched to your TV size and wall type. We’ll recommend the best option during the quote.
How long does a typical TV mount take?
Most living room installs take 2 to 3 hours. Complex materials, over-fireplace routing, or equipment shelves can add time.
Do you set up soundbars or surround sound with the TV?
Yes. We mount soundbars, connect ARC/eARC, balance levels, and can add in-ceiling speakers if you want a real surround upgrade.
Is a TV safe outside?
Yes, when you use a TV that is purpose built for outdoor use. Outdoor TVs are sealed against moisture and dust, brighter for sun and glare, and rated for Florida heat and humidity. We recommend GFCI power, protected cabling, and the correct model for shade or full sun. Indoor TVs should not be used outdoors.
What is an outdoor subwoofer
It is a weather resistant bass speaker designed for patios and yards. Most are partially buried or disguised as landscape features with only a small cap visible. Paired with landscape satellite speakers and a dedicated amplifier, an outdoor subwoofer delivers fuller, smoother bass across the seating area while withstanding rain, UV, and salt air.
Can you mount a TV on a condo balcony
Yes, with balcony-rated mounts and weather-ready TVs. We use sealed connections and plan for wind and salt air.
Do you handle condo installs with HOA rules
Yes. We specialize in low-impact condo work. We keep wiring tidy, follow quiet hours, and protect common areas.
Do you offer same-day or next-day service
Yes, for emergencies for exsiting customers.
What areas do you serve?
Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Palm Harbor, Dunedin, Largo, Seminole, Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs, and nearby communities.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are licensed and insured for low-voltage and AV work. License number is listed on the site and your invoice.
Do you remove old TVs and packaging?
Yes, if it is part of an install. We can haul away old equipment and leave the space clean.
If something goes wrong later, can you help
Yes, we offer ongoing maintenance. Call or email and we’ll troubleshoot. Many issues are solved fast. If we need, to visit, we schedule a convenient window.
